The New CHP Photography Studio In Weston, MA

A few months back I returned home from a trip to Costa Rica excited to work on a fun project. I planned to re-do my entire photography studio in Weston,MA, knocking down walls, picking out new paint colors, and installing new floors. I was excited to bring a new life to my studio space and had a million fantastic ideas. But then one day as I was leaving my studio after a mid-day session I saw a for lease sign in the building across the street.

The space had belonged to a children's boutique that I often visited to purchase props for my sessions and I cannot tell you how many times I thought how perfect the space would make for a photography studio. Filled with beautiful, natural light from the big picture window I instantly thought, "is this a sign? Is this space supposed to be the new home of my photography studio?!"

Within a week the papers were signed and I had the keys in hand. I hit the ground running, excited to decorate and make the space my own. The first project I had in mind was to get some big, beautiful barn doors up to separate my office from the general shooting area. I scoured Pinterest for days, finally deciding on exactly what I wanted.

Thankfully, I have a very crafty friend who turned my barn door vision into reality. The barn doors are a huge hit with everyone that visits my studio and all my clients cannot wait to get a picture in front of them! Even couples I'm meeting with to discuss their future weddings request photos in front of them!

For birthday and cake smash sessions I also have my Cricut machine at the studio so we can design all sorts of fun decorations, custom to each session. I have a full accessory wall with fun bowties, headbands, outfits, throws, wraps, and more so when you come for a session at my studio I have everything you could want and need!

And for all you tired mamas (or dads!) feel free to drink as much coffee as you want from my Keurig machine. I always have it stocked and ready to go with any hot beverages you may need!

One other exciting thing I should share with you is that I kept my prop room across the street where my old studio space was! Now if you want something in particular for your session all you have to do is let me know before your session and I will take a trip over there!

My new studio provides so much space and a variety of backdrops to accommodate the littlest of newborns to larger, extended families. It is everything I ever wanted and so much more. It is an overview of my style, an extension of my personality, the realization of my vision, and my happy place to create art. To say I love my studio would be an understatement and I cannot wait to share my space with you!
